Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose gel temperature detection method
1. Application equipment:
CJJ8-1 Magnetic Heating Stirrer, Magnetic Rod, Beaker, Glass Rod, Precision Thermometer
2. Materials and reagents:
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose HPMC sample, purified water
3. Operation steps:
3.1 Take 0.1g of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose HPMC sample, put it in a 250ml beaker, pour 20-30ml of heated purified water (80-90°C), stir well to disperse it, and then pour it into purified water at room temperature to 100ml (ie 0.1% aqueous solution);
3.2 Fully stir, after cooling, add a magnetic bar and then put it into a large beaker (1000ml) containing water that has been heated by the magnetic heating stirrer;
3.3 When the sample in the 250ml beaker begins to cloudy gel to completely cloudy gel, read the temperature range value, which is the gel temperature of the sample.
